Trend Watch: Top 7 Metallics | Monday Love List

Trends are everywhere. They drive what we see in adverts, in magazines, in supermarkets, on the high street. There’s no escaping them, whether you live by them or feel completely unaffected. From trending paint colours to furniture, from designs of cakes to what we can easily find to inspire our creativity, from the shoes we wear to the hair colours we see amongst our friends and co-workers.

The very nature of a trend is that they evolve and change, however they do so at different paces – some are popular only for a season, others go on for years – and we can rarely tell which is going to be which. Keeps us on our toes at least!

A trend we are loving at the moment is metallic, part of the ongoing trend for luxury which has delighted us for a few years now. Glamour, excitement, expense, opulence. But they need to be used sparingly – unless the complete full-on glitz is what you are after of course!

Here are a few things getting us seeing glitz and glamour at the moment.
