Tilda’s Toy Box

There is a brand new Tilda book out and it’s all about making beautiful toys and patchwork projects for children! Tilda’s Toy Box is an adorable collection of patterns that will appeal to mums, grannies and, of course, children.

DummyCoverDesigner Tone Finnanger, uses the fabrics and notions in her two new collections for autumn 2015: Sweetheart and Autumn Tree, for the projects in this brand new book.

If you’re looking for stuffed toy patterns you can choose from a couple of cheeky monkeys, a scrappy snake, delightful dolls and even a parrot – there is plenty to ignite your little one’s imagination.

  1. Wow, what a great treat! The little doll is so cute sitting on her little pillow on top of her quilt in those gorgeous happy vintage colors that are bright and cheerful, just perfect for little girls. She looks like a baby sumo wrestler without her clothes on but of course I understand the exaggerated proportions help give her clothes the sense of fullness you wouldn’t otherwise get which makes this little doll just come alive and I’m sure will be lots of fun to hold and cuddle for little girls. Tonne has absolutely done it again. I’m wondering, we won’t get the book here in the US till November. But are the prints used in the book for sale now?
