Rachel’s Story

rachels-storyRachel tells us how craft helped her overcome a gambling addiction

I had a gambling addiction before I started to cross-stitch. It’s fair to say my bank balance is no bigger as I love my stash but my mind is a lot healthier because I’m not losing my money online gambling. I’ve also noticed my depression is a lot better too and sleep as I go to sleep thinking about my next stitch rather than silly things that used to keep me awake and make me stressed. It’s a year at the end of the month since I started to stitch and it really does lighten up my dark days.

Below are some WIPs that Rachel has kindly sent across.
