What to Make with Glow by Amy Butler

We love Amy Butler fabrics and we know you do too. Her latest line, Glow, is classic Butler: gorgeous tropical colours with a hint of bohemia, swoon!

Amy describes ‘Glow’ as “an energetic fusion of Japanese inspired modern folk prints with graphic florals”. She says she took inspiration  for the designs from nature and chose two rich palettes which she says: “… compliment each other and make for loads of inspirations for both quilting and accessory sewing”.
So, are you wondering what to make with Glow? Well there are no shortage of stunning projects that lend themselves perfectly to this fabric line and we wanted to share some of them with you.
Why not try this stunning jacket made with one of the boldest print in the collection? It would look incredible over a simple slip dress or just jeans and a t shirt.
If home décor is what you’re after why not create a beautiful patchwork cushion like this one. The prints, although busy, work together so well to make a real statement cushion – imagine scatter cushions in a beach side hut, ahh.Screen Shot 2015-02-12 at 11.25.29
If you want a larger project how about this stunning patchwork quilt which uses 13 out of the 24 prints in the line? You can download the pattern to make this quilt here.Screen Shot 2015-02-12 at 16.57.21
