Janice’s Story

janices-storyJanice tells us craft helped her after a brain haemorrhage.

16 year ago I had a brain haemorrhage. I was scared to be on my own and hubby couldn’t even go to work for me panicking. My parents bought the fabric and threads for a tiger chart I had wanted to do prior to this. I could only manage to stitch an 18in length of thread a day, and yes I made mistakes but seeing the picture take shape gave me something to work towards. I slowly improved, and although I still have a lot of problems, being left home alone isn’t one of them.
