Fabric Crush | Cat Lady by Sarah Watts

Cat Lady Logo It’s time to face facts. We have a total fabric crush on the Cat Lady range by Sarah Watts. Everything about it, from the bright colours to the cats huddled up around a ball of wool. It is fun, creative and we can’t get enough.

Sarah Watts is a self proclaimed ‘Digital art ninja who will not stop until a shark eats her or she is abducted by aliens‘. Well, we hope that never happens because right now we are obsessed with Cat Lady and we would like to keep getting our fabric fix.

Each of the patterns are as quirky as the next. The colours aren’t too fussy and the detailed prints don’t give you a headache. There are so many options for this range in terms of sewing projects; quilting, doorstops, a fabric cat house even!

Sarah’s cat Pennie is the inspiration behind her line. If you haven’t had chance to see Pennie on Instagram yet, check her out, she’s a sasspot!

We wanted to take the ‘Cat Lady‘ theme to a new level, so our very own Lisa Fordham has created an exclusive cat doorstop kit for you to make from 50 Fat Quarter Makes. It takes just 2 fat quarters to complete and would suit any of the Cat Lady fabrics. Isn’t it fab?

To top it off we have two coordinated fat quarter packs for you to get your hands on. One in blue and teal and the other in pink and mustard. You can find project inspiration for your fat quarters here.
