Stitch New York | Stitch a Scream Queen

We’re all very excited about the latest book from Lauren O’Farrell, Stitch New York. And even more excited that we have this free pattern for a Stitched Scream Queen to accompany Smash the Angry Ape who features in the book:

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! If you’re going to scream on the silver screen, you might as well do it properly, and minuscule handmade maiden the Stitched Scream Queen is the little lady to do it.

In less time than it takes to wail ‘AAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIEEEEEE!’ and drop into a dead faint in a wafting white gown, you can knit yourself a screaming siren to entice any handmade Angry Ape to climb up the most unscalable skyscraper and swat away at passing planes while clutching her in his woolly fist. It was knitted beauty that killed the beast, after all.

Your tiny wailing woman could be turned into all kinds of purly people. Fill the fist of your Angry Ape with mini knitted versions of people you’d like to see swept away by a purly primate. Your beetle-browed boss, that chick with the pushy elbows on your morning Metro ride or the schmuck who stole your best girl, New Year’s Eve 1984. Revenge is best served cold and knitted, I tell you!
