This year Sew and So will be exhibiting at The Festival of Quilts, Europe’s largest and most inspiring quilting and patchwork event, at the NEC in Birmingham.

Admire the work of quilters from all over the world in their display of 700+ competition entries, including the new Modern Quilt category. They also showcase hundreds of quilts from leading quilt artists in a series of 30 professionally curated Galleries. This year’s artists include Cecile Trentini, Brigitte Morgenroth, Kaffe Fassett and Pam Stallebrass. They present group exhibitions from the 6th European Quilt Triennial, Art Textiles: Made in Britain and Quilts from Korea & Japan.

Shopping:
Nowhere else will you find such an enormous range of patchwork & quilting supplies under one roof. There are over 300 companies exhibiting, offering everything from sewing machines to fabric by the metre; fat quarters, patterns, kits, accessories and more. You’ll also be surrounded by experts so it’s a great place to gain ideas and inspiration for your next quilt.

Learning:
We offer two complete workshop programmes. The Quick & Easy Workshops offer a series of classes aimed mainly at beginners and lasting one to two hours. The Quilt Academy offers masterclasses for those with existing sewing skills who want something more intensive. With over 250 sessions to choose from, you’re bound to find something to tempt you.
