Mental Health Month | Your Stories

Every year, one in four people will experience a mental health problem. Relaxing activities such as cross stitch and other crafts can help reduce stress and improve well-being and so SewandSo is proud to have partnered with Mind, the mental health charity, to help ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone. Read all about our partnership here.

As well as fundraising for this vital cause, we want to help raise awareness and so we reached out to our customers to find out just how craft has helped your mental health. Each day we will hear from someone new, who will tell us their story and offer words of encouragement and advice to anyone who may be in the same position.

You can craft to raise awareness of mental health problems with Mind’s Crafternoon. Crafternoon means getting together with friends, family or colleagues to hold an afternoon of crafting and raise money for Mind – a fun way to help us be there for everyone with a mental health problem.
