Isabelle Kessedjian’s My Crochet Animals

We can’t get enough of soft toy projects this week and some of our favourite Crafty Creatures appear in the latest book by Isabelle Kessedjian, My Crochet Animals.

Crochet expert and Instagram supremo, Kessedjian, has turned her incredible crochet talent to designing animals following the huge success of her crocheted doll book, My Crochet Doll. We wanted to share some of our favourite animals with you here to get you in the mood. Beware: this book is packed full of wild animals in strangely human poses – barbecuing pigs; painting koalas and foxes on a camping trip are just a few of the scenarios she’s created. Take a look below to see some of the adorable new designs…

To the Forest!

This cheeky raccoon is one of the sweet forest-dwellers Isabelle Kessedjian brings to life. I just love how his stripy onesie matches his tail!

These two are just the best of friends.

And also in their forest friendship group are a very lovely bear, and a Red Riding Hood-inspired wolf.

In Love

Koala and Panda are so in love! And I adore their co-ordinated outfits…

Three Little Pigs

These hardworking piggies are just wonderful! And I do love that chef’s hat.

Rabbit’s Little Family

This little bunny and her mamma are arguably the cutest pair in the whole book. Just look at those little ears!

Itty-Bitty Wardrobe

Along with the 12 cute critters, there are also a whopping 35 patterns for stylish clothes & accessories! These sweet pieces are so detailed – I love the little pink dungarees (and would totally wear them if they were human-sized).
