Help Kick Breast Cancer’s Butt with DMC’s Pink Ribbon Kits

DMC PInk Ribbon Large Pink RibbonDMC have partnered with an amazing charity called The Pink Ribbon Foundation, to bring you a range of cross stitch kits which will help raise money to kick breast cancer’s butt.

Every year nearly 62,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK, that’s the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes and 1 in 8 women in the UK will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg. Charity No. 1080839) is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or who have been affected by breast cancer or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.  The Pink Ribbon Foundation has very little infrastructure. It relies on the hard work given by Trustees, interested parties and its Patrons. This is done in order to maximise the amount, which goes to the charities that benefit from the funds raised.

It can provide a highly skilled programme of care, complimentary therapies, counselling for patients and their families, up-date communication materials, awareness programmes, lymphedema care, therapy sessions, specialist equipment extra nurses to care for breast cancer patients, vital research into this terrible disease and much more.
