Here’s how to make the Crochet Poncho…

BACK AND FRONT:
With 5.5mm crochet hook make a 75cm long foundation chain (104 sts) and continue to work in patt (see Stitches Used).
Fasten off when work measures 45cm.
Crochet second piece to match.

TO MAKE UP AND FINISH:
Use coloured yarn as markers to indicate 15cm from right (see patt) then again for next 15cm.
Assemble back and front as follows: place A and B markers of 1st piece on A’ and B’ markers of 2nd piece and graft together.
Place A and B markers of 2nd piece on A’ and B’ markers of 1st piece and graft together.
Make 35cm-long tassels (length of finished tassels) from 2 strands folded in half, and attach them along the bottom edge.
