Country Style Quilting | Sneak Peek!

Country Style Quilting is the latest book by life-long crafter and expert quilter, Lynette Anderson. This new collection really captures the essence of country style, with beautiful bird and flower motifs taking center stage. Read on for a sneak preview…

Renowned for her personal touch when it comes to designs, Lynette has put together the very best of her latest creations for Country Style QuiltingInspired by her garden, her family, and the natural world around her, these 14 patchwork projects bring the beauty of the outdoors into your own home. The book contains everything from cosy and decorative quilts to wall hangings and coasters, and while I can’t show you everything, I hope you enjoy taking a peek at a few of my favourite projects.

So what’s inside?

Tackle a full size patchwork quilt (like the Hexi Heirloom Quilt, top left) or embroider little coaster patches. The embroidery involved in the Teatime coasters (bottom left) can even be done on the go! My personal favourite is the cream and red quilt and accompanying wall hanging (bottom right). I love the contrasting colours and the red house is simply adorable.

country style quilting cushion

These cushions exude farmhouse country chic and the patchwork pieces give them a wonderful textured look. Use them as decorations on a windowsill or pop them on the sofa, the choice is yours.
