I don’t know about you, but I am starting to feel really, really festive. Now is the time I want to start making Christmas related items such as stockings and cross stitch charts.
I wanted to share with you some of my favourite festive cross stitch kits that have recently come into the store that I think need to be shared! While you may not be able to stitch them all in time for Christmas, I can’t think of anything better than sat, snuggled up on the sofa, with a hot chocolate or warm mulled cider and stitching a Christmasy scene.
From left to right, top to bottom: The set of two Robin Cross Stitch Bookmarks have a chocolate box European style about them, keep one for yourself and give one to a friend. The retro Ho! Ho! Ho! kit from Bothy Threads can’t help but put a smile on my face! Doesn’t Santa look happy?! The Happy Christmas Tree from Riverdrift House has a funky style to it. So many ornaments on the tree to look at and admire. This cute little Fairy looks to be having so much fun making a chain for the Christmas tree. Who has a pet who likes get in the way while you wrap gifts or try and get at them while they are under the tree? The Dog With Decorations kit is the one for you! These Christmas Owls from Heritage are a hoot!! The kit comes in either 14 or 28 count Aida. The Winter Night Miniature Cross Stitch Kits look like a scene from a ski lodge at Christmas. These could be added to cards or framed. Finally, for a rustic-style decoration, the Tree Plywood Ornament is ideal. It could also be worn as a festive necklace at Christmas.
