You Will Need
- 4mm (US size 6) knitting needles
- Cable needle
- 3 x 50g balls blue yarn
We used Patons Diploma Gold DK Soft Teal (06309)
- Three blue mini daisy bead packs
- Blue sewing thread
We used Gutermann colour 75
Beaded Scarf Knitting Pattern Instructions:
1. Knit the beaded scarf knitting pattern as follows:
Using 4mm knitting needles and blue yarn, cast on 50 stitches.
Row 1: (WS) Knit.
Row 2: (RS) Purl 22sts, slip 2sts onto cable needle, leave at back, k1, k2 from cable needle, slip 1 stitch onto cable needle, leave at front, k2, knit stitch from cable needle, p22.
Row 3: K22sts, p1, add bead (by slipping onto the stitch using a sewing needle and blue thread), p2, add bead, p1, k22.
Row 4: P22, k6, p22.
Row 5: K22 sts, p1, add bead, p2, add bead, p1, k22
Row 6: P22, k6, p22.
Row 7: K22, p6, k22.
Repeat Rows 2–7, placing the beads in a line as you go. Continue in this way, leaving approximately 80cm (32in) for casting off.
2. To finish neatly stitch the ends into the back of the cast on/ off rows. With wrong side facing, pin out the knitted scarf using glass headed pins to the correct size. Cover with a damp cloth and press gently using a steam iron.
