The new Amy Butler Violette range is so gorgeous that I’m sure you’re looking for ways to bring these amazing prints into your home. Luckily, help is at hand! A cushion is all very well but what’s really going to have the wow factor is a quilt — and Amy has designed not one but two that are just begging to be made…
To coincide with the launch of her Freespirit Violette range, Amy Butler has released two quilt patterns, which are now available to preorder as limited edition kits from our shop!
Amy Butler Violette City Square Quilt Kit
The City Square Quilt (above) is a fresh design by Amy Butler herself and makes full use of her Violette fabric, which was inspired by the beauty of France. Evoking a bustling market day in an historic city square this design is really simple to piece (it’s just squares and rectangles — perfect for beginners) but definitely has that je ne sais quoi.
The kit includes the piecing directions and fabrics for the quilt top and binding (backing and wadding not included) and when finished measures 54 x 72in (137 x 183cm).
Amy Butler Violette Square Dance Quilt Kit
Square Dance (above) is a large quilt is a little more challenging that the City Square quilt but was designed by Amy Butler to really showcase the Violette range to its finest. You can almost feel the lush French countryside and bustling local markets, don’t you think? The kit includes the piecing directions and fabrics for the quilt top and binding (backing and wadding not included) and when finished measures 91 x 105in (231 x 267cm).
