Today is International Sloth Day. We love a sloth and we love making sloth projects. Here are our favourite DIY sloth ideas from around the web.
This cute embroidery pattern from Wild Olive is mega cute. It is the kind of embroidery you could make, frame in the hoop and hang in a nursery.
Perfect for kids, this felt sloth mask is great for imaginative play. The Etsy shop I found it on also has lots of other animal masks, perfect for a zoo-themed birthday party perhaps.
What I love about sock animals is that they are mega easy to make. This sock sloth on Cut Out & keep can be done really quickly with very little materials.
These sloth loveys make a wonderful gift for a newborn. You can make them with soft fabric or flannel and they can become a lifelong friend for a little one.
Any Ice Age fans out there? This fun little sloth is rather funny looking but is perfect for someone who loves the films.
This amigurumi sloth comes from the talented Sarah Shrimpton of Annaboos House. His long arms and legs are perfect for hanging from things and for cuddling.
This quilt pattern from Elizabeth Hartman is gorgeous. I have actually bought this myself to make and I can’t wait to get started. Must just finish all other WIP’s first…
Okay, there isn’t a pattern for this, but I had to share it because it is MEGA! Storyland Amis is the queen when it comes to making extreme amigurumi toys and this sloth stole my heart. This giant sloth was made using a 40mm crochet hook!
I came across this fun cross stitch chart on Pinterest. It doesn’t have instructions or anything but it does have a chart. It just perfectly summarises my life! (Although it did miss out my cross stitch breaks!)

These felt sloth brooches are too cute. I love the colour of the dark grey one, but really like the one with the baby too! I would have to make them both.
